Star Plus’ ‘India’s Dancing Superstar’ won the ratings battle last night by claiming the biggest audience amongst the Asian TV shows in the UK.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘India’s Dancing Superstar’ at 21:00 pulled in 209,900 viewers – peaking at 229,500 viewers. ‘Arjun’ earlier in the evening at 20:00 got a fantastic 139,900 viewers.

On Rishtey, Pakistani drama ‘Humsafar’ got another record high viewership with 118,000 viewers at 20:30 – peaking at 140,600 viewers. ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ at 21:30 pulled in 45,900 viewers.

On ITV4, the Indian Premier League matches yesterday got one of the best ratings with an average 242,500 – peaking at 492,100 viewers.

ARY News continued with its rolling coverage of Pakistan elections with another good day of ratings for the channel. It peaked with around 40,000 viewers at 18:00 – averaging during the day with 25,000 viewers.
