The latest series of popular reality show ‘Indian Idol’ is once again proving a huge ratings success for Sony TV in UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
Sony TV thrashed rivals with a share of 0.16%, followed by PTC Punjabi with 0.10%, Colors with 0.08%, ZEE Cinema with 0.07%, New Vision TV with 0.05%, Star Plus, Star Bharat and Colors Rishtey with 0.04%, ZEE TV with 0.03%, Hum TV and Geo TV with 0.01%.
Sony TV’s top attractions on Sunday were ‘Indian Idol 12’ with 94,500 viewers at 20:00 – peaking at 118,600 viewers – its biggest audience since the show launched last month. It was followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 58,200 viewers and repeat at 18:30 with 19,900 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 14’ led with 47,700 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘NRI Haadsa’ at 21:00 with 25,800 viewers and ‘Naagin 5’ at 20:00 with 9,300 viewers.
On ZEE Cinema, premiere of ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ topped ratings with 17,800 viewers, followed by ‘Naam Shabana’ at 12:45 with 17,200 viewers.
On Star Plus, premiere of ‘Sadak 2’ pulled in 12,600 viewers at 21:00.
On ZEE TV, ‘Out & About’ was watched by 8,500 viewers, followed by ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ premiere at 22:30 with 8,300 viewers.
On Hum TV, ‘Qaraar’ raked in 14,500 viewers at 20:00.
