Overnights: ‘Indian Idol 12’ launches with over 100k viewers on Sony TV UK
The launch of ‘Indian Idol 12’ on Saturday night, gave Sony TV a huge surge in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
Sony TV delivered a whopping share of 0.20%, followed by Star Plus with 0.14%, Colors with 0.09%, ARY Digital with 0.06%, Geo TV, PTC Punjabi and Colors Rishtey with 0.04%, New Vision TV and Sony MAX 2 with 0.03%, ZEE TV, Hum TV, Star Gold and Star Bharat with 0.02%.
On Sony TV, the launch episode of ‘Indian Idol 12’ attracted 79,800 viewers at 20:00 – peaking at 105,100 viewers. Comparatively, the show had a similar launch to ‘Indian Idol 11’ last year. In Overnight figures, the show launched with 84,600 viewers last year.
Beside ‘Indian Idol 12’, other top shows on Sony TV were ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:40 with 58,000 viewers, ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:10 with 50,200 viewers and ‘India’s Best Dancer final’ repeat at 17:00 with 26,400 viewers.
On Star Plus, ‘Anupamaa’ led with 118,100 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Shaadi Mubarak’ at 20:30 with 45,200 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 44,700 viewers, ‘Saathiya 2’ at 19:00 with 30,500 viewers, ‘Imlime’ at 22:30 with 11,000 viewers, ‘Lockdown Ki Love Story’ at 22:00 with 8,500 viewers, ‘Taare Zameen Par’ at 18:00 with 8,000 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 6,400 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 14’ delivered 53,500 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ at 19:30 with 19,200 viewers, ‘Desi Beat’ at 21:00 with 12,000 viewers and ‘Naagin 5’ at 20:00 with 9,500 viewers.
On ARY Digital, movie ‘Sher Dil’ at 21:00 fetched 31,200 viewers, followed by ‘Ghar Jamai’ at 19:30 with 9,400 viewers.
On Hum TV, ‘Mushk’ was top show with 17,000 viewers at 20:00.
On ZEE TV, ‘Out & About’ led with 19,400 viewers at 08:30.
