Overnights: ‘Indian Idol’ re-run on Sony TV leads on Thursday in UK

New Vision TV topped UK ratings on Thursday, while Star Plus and Sony Entertainment Television fought for the No.2 position. In terms of shows, the re-run of ‘Indian Idol 11’ on Sony TV emerged as the big winner, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

New Vision TV delivered a share of 0.09%, followed by Star Plus with 0.08%, Sony TV with 0.07%, Hum TV with 0.06%, Hum Masala, Aaj Tak and ABP News with 0.04%, Star Gold, Geo TV, Sony MAX, Sony MAX 2, Colors, Colors Rishtey, B4U Movies, Venus TV and ZEE Cinema with 0.03%, Star Bharat, BritAsia TV, Republic Bharat, ARY Family, Dunya News, Colors Cineplex, Sony SAB TV and Geo News with 0.02%, ZEE TV with 0.01%.

On New Vision TV, ‘Headline News’ at 10:00 led with 55,000 viewers, followed by ‘News’ at 13:05 with 44,600 viewers and ‘Sports Room’ at 13:30 with 35,400 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Saathiya’ led with 29,200 viewers at 15:30, followed by ‘Mahabharat’ at 18:00 with 25,000 viewers, ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’ at 21:00 with 23,700 viewers and ‘Shree Ganesh’ at 20:00 with 22,800 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Indian Idol’ re-run at 18:00 pulled in 41,300 viewers. The show continued to rise in ratings this week after attracting 30,600 viewers on Wednesday. It was followed by ‘Crime Patrol’ with 21,500 viewers and 17,500 viewers at 22:00 and 23:00 respectively.

On Hum TV, ‘Bari Aapa’ led with 26,200 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Rabba Mainu Maaf Kareen’ at 22:00 with 24,800 viewers and ‘Soteli Maamta’ at 19:30 with 14,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Mahabharat’ was watched by 21,900 viewers at 21:00, while the 20:00 episode attracted 4,000 viewers.

On Colors Rishtey, ‘Balika Vadhu’ pulled in 22,900 viewers and ‘Rasoi Show’ at 16:30 with 16,400 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ZEE News bulletin at 07:00 was top show with 6,700 viewers.
