Overnights: India V Pakistan cricket gives Utsav Gold biggest ever ratings

The face-off between arch-rivals, India V Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2022 proved a mind-boggling success for Utsav Gold, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The broadcaster grabbed a mammoth share of 0.62% – the biggest share for the channel it has recorded in recent times. The match, which started at 15:00 was watched by 123,300 viewers – peaking at 216,600 viewers. The repeat telecast of the match was watched by a further 36,300 viewers.

The blockbuster movie ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, which aired immediately after the repeat telecast of the match benefitted from the audience with 17,500 viewers at 22:40.

Other broadcasters suffered from the match with New Vision TV raking in 0.08%, while Sony TV garnered 0.03% and Utsav Plus with 0.02%.
