Overnights: India cricket puts Star Gold at No.1 in UK on Tuesday

The Twenty20 match between India and Sri Lanka on Tuesday, gave Star Gold a boost in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Gold shared the No.1 spot with PTC Punjabi, both of which raked in a share of 0.12%, followed by Star Plus and Colors with 0.10%, Hum TV with 0.06%, Sony Entertainment Television and New Vision TV with 0.05%, Dunya News with 0.04%, Star Bharat and NDTV 24×7 with 0.03%, Sony MAX 2, Sony SAB TV, Colors Rishtey, ARY Family, ZEE TV and ZEE Cinema with 0.02% and Geo TV with 0.01%.

Star Gold’s India V Sri Lanka match was watched by 17,400 viewers initially, pushing up to 33,400 viewers at 15:15 for the second interval. Cricket highlights at 21:00 delivered 17,500 viewers. Movie ‘Ekees Toppon Ki Salaami’ pulled in 16,200 viewers at 18:15.

On Star Plus, ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ led with 49,300 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Sanjivani’ at 19:00 with 47,100 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 46,400 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 42,500 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 18:30 with 36,800 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 34,100 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 24,700 viewers, ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 16,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 13’ stayed top with 70,300 viewers at 21:30, followed by repeat of the show at 16:30 with 13,800 viewers, ‘Bahu Begum’ at 21:00 with 11,000 viewers and ‘Bepanah Pyarr’ at 23:15 with 6,500 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Mere Sai’ topped ratings with 32,300 viewers at 19:00, followed by ‘Patiala Babes’ at 20:30 with 15,300 viewers, ‘Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein’ at 20:00 with 13,900 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:30 with 11,200 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Main Na Janu’ led with 40,900 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Kahi Un Kahi’ at 21:00 with 10,500 viewers and ‘Tera Yahan Koi Nahi’ at 22:00 with 9,900 viewers.

On Star Bharat, ‘Meri Gudiya’ was top show with 12,400 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Guddan’ pulled in 14,500 viewers at 18:30.
