Overnights: ‘Humsafar’ leads 21:00 Sunday slot

Hum TV continues to impress in UK Asian TV ratings after its popular fiction ‘Humsafar’ topped the 21:00 – 22:00 slot on Sunday.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Humsafar’ delivered 88,500 viewers – peaking at 107,000 viewers. It was far ahead of the Women’s special show ‘Anmol Hai Tu – Nayi Soch Ko Salaam’ on Star Plus, which could only garner 33,900 viewers during the two-hour telecast. It also beat off competition from ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ on Colors, which pulled in 68,700 viewers.

‘Nikah’ on Hum TV at 20:00 was down compared to last week, with 33,900 viewers – peaking at 54,800 viewers.

‘Private Investigator’ on Star Plus at 20:00 was top show with 59,100 viewers – peaking at 69,300 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ led the ratings, followed by ‘Farah Ki Dawat’ at 20:00 with 46,900 viewers and ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:10 with 32,000 viewers.

On PTC Punjabi, premiere of ‘Ishq Brandy’ at 20:00 delivered 4,900 viewers.

On SAB TV, movies ‘Mohabbatein’ at 15:00 got 3,900 viewers, while ‘Silsila’ at 20:00 garnered 12,300 viewers.

On UMP Movies, ‘Mary Kom’ at 21:00 attracted 18,100 viewers.

On Channel 4, ‘Indian Summers’ could only manage 1.3 million viewers – down from the 3 million viewers it launched with.
