Overnights: Hum TV’s ‘Shanaakht’ tops 20:00 slot
The Urdu drama ‘Shanaakht’ on Hum TV Europe managed to top the 20:00 – 21:00 slot last night in UK, despite opposition from leading Indian broadcaster, Star Plus.
According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Shanaakht’ at 20:00 averaged with 84,400 viewers in the 60-minute slot – peaking at 121,000 viewers. ‘Kankar’ also did well on the channel with 66,800 viewers at 21:00.
On Star Plus, ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ was top show at 20:00 with 109,100 viewers, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 105,800 viewers and ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ in third with 89,100 viewers.
On Colors, ‘BeIntehaa’ was top with 68,100 viewers, followed by ‘Shastri Sisters’ with 39,700 viewers and ‘Bigg Boss 8’ was third with 30,200 viewers.
On Rishtey, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ was top with 66,900 viewers, followed by ‘Laado’ with 53,400 viewers.
On Star Life Ok, ‘Comedy Classes’ took lead on the channel with 32,400 viewers, followed by ‘Savdhaan India’ with 30,900 viewers and ‘Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh’ with 26,700 viewers.
