Overnights: Hum TV & Sony TV claw into Star Plus’ share

Hum TV continued to perform strongly, along with Sony Entertainment Television, both of which proved a threat to Star Plus in UK ratings on Wednesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus stayed ahead with a share of 0.20%. Its top performers included ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ in the lead with 88,000 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 71,300 viewers and ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 66,800 viewers. New shows ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 and ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 21:00 performed averagely with 48,400 viewers and 36,700 viewers respectively.

Hum TV’s surge in UK ratings continued with a share of 0.16%. Its top shows were ‘Teri Meri Kahani’ with 61,500 viewers, followed by ‘Adhan-e-Isha’ at 22:30 with 54,000 viewers and ‘Kankar’ at 21:30 with 47,200 viewers.

Sony TV accelerated with an impressive share of 0.13% with its afternoon band between 13:30 and 18:00 averaging with 35,000 viewers.

Geo TV was next with a share of 0.05%. Colors drew a share of 0.04%, followed by ZEE TV with 0.03%.
