Hum TV and New Vision TV emerged as the leading Urdu channels on Friday in the UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
The two broadcasters delivered a share of 0.08%, sitting behind market leader, Sony TV, which reported a share of 0.10%. Dunya News clocked up 0.04%, Geo News and Geo TV with 0.02%. ARY Family registered a zero share.
Hum TV’s biggest attractions on Friday were ‘Kun Faya Kun’ with 59,600 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Mehboob Apke Qadmon Mein’ at 21:00 with 32,800 viewers and ‘Pyaar Ke Sadqay’ at 22:00 with 30,500 viewers.
On New Vision TV, ‘Headline News’ at 20:00 pulled in 30,200 viewers, followed by ‘Saray Aam’ at 22:05 with 28,900 viewers and ‘Aitraaz Hai’ at 21:05 with 25,900 viewers.
