Overnights: Hum TV & Hum Masala annihilate Pakistani rivals

Hum TV Network is rejoicing today after its two channels, Hum TV and Hum Masala proved the two biggest Asian TV channels in the UK (after Star Plus) on Wednesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus continued to lead with a share of 0.17%, while Hum TV grabbed a share of 0.11% and Hum Masala with 0.10% – Making them the two most watched Pakistani channels in the UK on Wednesday.

Hum TV’s biggest shows were ‘Alvida’ with 24,900 viewers, followed by ‘Bisaat-e-Dil’ with 14,000 viewers and ‘Mere Humdum’ with 10,900 viewers. On sister channel, Hum Masala, it was the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which remained the dominant player.

The PSL 2019 coverage was watched by 21,300 viewers at 14:00, with 54,200 viewers tuning for the post-match coverage at 17:30. Elsewhere on the channel, ‘Khaa Mere Manwa’ at 18:00 was watched by 22,200 viewers and ‘Lazzat’ at 21:00 with 15,000 viewers.
