Overnights: Hum TV hits No.1 spot in UK on Saturday

Hum TV overtook major Hindi TV services, Star Plus and Sony Entertainment Television to claim victory in UK ratings on Saturday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Hum TV led the way with a share of 0.12%, followed by PTC Punjabi with 0.11%, Sony TV with 0.10%, Star Plus with 0.08%, Star Gold with 0.05%, New Vision TV, ZEE Cinema and Colors Rishtey with 0.04%, Geo TV and Colors with 0.03% and ZEE TV slipped to 0.02%.

Hum TV’s biggest attractions on Saturday were ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’ with 46,500 viewers, followed by ‘Suno Chanda’ with 32,000 viewers and ‘Sirat-e-Mustaqeem’ with 27,000 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Super Dancer Chapter 3’ at 20:00 was top show in the UK with 54,000 viewers, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 37,200 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘The Voice Special’ at midnight fetched 44,800 viewers, followed by ‘Veera’ re-run at 13:00 with 21,400 viewers and ‘Tamanna’ at 15:00 with 14,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Rising Star’ was top show with 10,000 viewers, while ‘Colors Ke Sang Antakshari Ke Rang’ (original) slumped to just 2,800 viewers at 19:30.
