Overnights: Hum TV flies high with record Saturday ratings

‘Gul-e-Rana’ on Hum TV

Hum TV touched a ratings high in the UK on Saturday night with a peak of around 100k viewers for each show after 19:30, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive,com.

The latest episode of ‘Gul-e-Rana’ proved a runaway success with over 133,400 viewers tuning in at 20:00 – peaking at 167,700 viewers – the biggest audience for the show since it launched on Hum TV. It also gave the channel one of its biggest ever ratings. Movie ‘Na Maloom Afraad’ at 21:00 was watched by 37,500 viewers – peaking at 95,000 viewers. Similarly ‘Mr Shamim’ at 19:30 averaged with 29,100 viewers – peaking at 94,400 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 pulled in 123,600 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 103,700 viewers and ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 18:30 with 97,600 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ at 22:30 delivered 58,300 viewers, followed by ‘Box Cricket League’ at 17:00 with 24,800 viewers, ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ at 20:30 with 19,500 viewers and ‘Naagin’ at 19:00 with 17,800 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ was most watched with 67,300 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 48,900 viewers and ‘Phulwa’ at 19:00 with 35,800 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Shukriya’ at 19:30 topped ratings with 15,500 viewers, followed by movie ‘Budha Hoga Tera Baap’ at 12:30 with 9,800 viewers and ‘Agent Raghav’ at 21:00 with 5,100 viewers.

On SAB TV, movie ‘Krrish 3’ at 20:00 delivered 24,400 viewers, followed by ‘Love Aaj Kal’ at 17:30 with 7,500 viewers and ‘Do Raaste’ at 11:30 with 5,700 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Maikay Ko Dey Do Sandesh’ at 19:30 was watched by 18,800 viewers, followed by repeat of ‘Babul Ka Angna’ at 18:30 with 18,400 viewers and ‘She’ at 19:00 with 18,200 viewers. ‘Sang Dil’ at 20:00 pulled in 13,100 viewers.
