Hum TV was crowned the UK’s most watched Asian TV channel on Monday, dislodging Star Plus from the top, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
Hum TV, which delivered record high ratings during Ramadan, maintained its strong stance on Monday with a share of 0.08%. The channel’s top shows were ‘Mausam’ at 21:00 with 39,400 viewers, followed by ‘Aik Larki Aam Si’ at 19:00 with 37,400 viewers and ‘Maa Sadqay’ at 19:30 with 20,400 viewers.
Star Plus slipped to No.2 with a low share of just 0.07%. ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ was top show with 62,400 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 with 43,600 viewers and ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 36,800 viewers. The least watched show on Star Plus during primetime was ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 with 6,400 viewers.
New Vision TV impressed again on Monday with a share of 0.07%. ‘Headline News’ at 21:00 was the biggest show with 36,300 viewers.
Sony Entertainment Television and ZEE TV fetched a share of 0.04%, while Geo TV grabbed a share of 0.03% and Colors managed just 0.02%.
