Overnights: Hum TV edges closer to Star Plus at No.1 on Wednesday

Hum TV’s Ramadan programming has proved a huge success for the channel and it came close to overtaking UK market leader, Star Plus from the No.1 position on Wednesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus delivered a share of 0.16%, followed by Hum TV with 0.13%, Sony Entertainment Television with 0.07%, PTC Punjabi with 0.06%, Star Bharat and ZEE TV with 0.05%, Geo TV, Hum Masala, New Vision TV, Aaj Tak, NDTV 24×7 and Colors Rishtey with 0.04%, Colors with 0.03% and ARY Family with 0.02%.

Star Plus’ biggest attractions on Wednesday were ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 71,300 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 49,700 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 43,200 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 41,400 viewers, ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ at 19:00 with 31,300 viewers and ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 20:00 with 23,900 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Suno Chanda’ stayed top with 56,700 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Sirat-e-Mustaqeem’ at 20:30 with 22,500 viewers and ‘Khaas’ repeat at 17:00 with 22,300 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Patiala Babes’ was watched by 27,100 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:30 with 24,300 viewers and ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 22,600 viewers.
