Overnights: Hum TV comes inches of Star Plus on Sunday

Star Plus’ ratings on Sunday in the UK were impacted after Hum TV came close to overtaking the leading Asian TV channel in couple of slots, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ biggest show on Sunday night was ‘Mere Angne Mein’, which pulled in 63,600 viewers at 18:00, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 56,500 viewers and ‘Dance+ 3’ at 20:00 with 41,900 viewers. ‘Saathiya’ slumped to just 27,800 viewers at 19:00. Movie ‘Phillauri’ at 15:00 was watched by 25,900 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Sammi’ beat Star Plus at 22:00 with 45,900 viewers, followed by ‘To Dil Ka Kia Hua’ at 20:00 with 35,500 viewers and ‘Mere Qatil Mere Dildar’ at 22:00 with 33,900 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Devanshi’ at 19:00 pulled in 9,600 viewers, followed by ‘India Banega Manch’ at 21:00 with 7,400 viewers and ‘Chhote Miyan’ at 22:20 with 4,900 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ raked in 37,000 viewers at 18:30.

On &TV, movie ‘Rustom’ at 16:00 pulled in 12,600 viewers, followed by ‘Khiladi’ at 12:00 with 4,500 viewers and ‘India’s Asli Champion’ at 21:00 with 3,900 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, movie ‘ABCD 2’ was the biggest Bollywood movie on UK Asian TV yesterday, pulling 26,400 viewers, followed by ‘Insaf Ka Tarazu’ at 21:25 with 17,300 viewers and ‘Veer Zaara’ at 17:25 with 11,700 viewers.
