Overnights: Hum TV clinches Sunday night lead in UK

The UK’s most watched Pakistani entertainment channel, Hum TV, took lead in ratings on Sunday night eclipsing Star Plus and Colors between 20:00 – 22:00.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, the hugely popular series ‘Humsafar’ at 21:00 was the most watched show with 64,200 viewers, followed by ‘Nikah’ at 20:00 with 49,300 viewers and ‘Mr Shamim’ at 19:30 with 46,500 viewers.

Colors was right behind Hum TV with ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ at 21:00 with 51,200 viewers, followed by ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:30 with 43,700 viewers and new show ‘Farah Ki Dawat’ with 34,700 viewers.

On Star Plus, movie ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’ at 21:00 pulled in 40,800 viewers, followed by ‘Private Investigator’ at 20:00 with 24,900 viewers.

On Zing, movie ‘Mr India’ did well with 36,800 viewers – peaking to a huge 91,000 viewers.

On Channel 4, ‘Indian Summers’ at 21:00 lost viewers to last week’s launch but was the channel’s most watched show of the day with 2.2 million (including Channel 4 +1).
