Overnights: Hum TV accelerates in Wednesday UK ratings

Hum TV surged in latest UK ratings on Wednesday by crossing a share of 0.12%, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The popular Pakistani entertainment channel has witnessed a turbulent time in UK ratings, along with other Asian TV services. However, it was back on form on Wednesday with ‘Kankar’ at 21:00 topping ratings with 39,600 viewers, followed by ‘Dar Si Jati Hai Sila’ with 35,300 viewers and ‘Teri Meri Kahani’ at 22:00 with 25,300 viewers.

Star Plus remained by far the biggest Asian TV broadcaster with a share of 0.25%. ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ took the No.1 position in UK ratings with 108,900 viewers at 20:30, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 78,900 viewers and ‘Naamkarann’ at 21:00 with 71,600 viewers. Earlier in the day, ‘Tumhari Paakhi’ dominated with 35,400 viewers.

Geo TV delivered a share of 0.05% with ‘Noor-e-Zindagi’ at 14:00 pulling in 15,000 viewers.

Other channels in the pecking order included Sony Entertainment Television and Colors (both with 0.03%) and ZEE TV with 0.02%.
