Overnights: Hum Masala & Hum TV stay strong on Tuesday in UK

Hum Masala and Hum TV were the two most watched Asian TV channels in the UK, after Star Plus on Tuesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ share fell to 0.19% but remained the UK’s most watched Asian TV channel. Its top show was ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 102,100 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 91,900 viewers and ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 59,300 viewers.

Hum Masala was in second place with 0.12% share. Its top show was ‘Mehboob’s Kitchen’ at 18:30 with 40,500 viewers.

Hum TV was placed in third with a share of 0.10%. ‘Gumrah’ was the channel’s most watched show with a huge 64,500 viewers, followed by ‘Diyar-e-Dil’ at 21:00 with 36,900 viewers and ‘Alif Allah Aur Insan’ at 20:00 with 21,400 viewers.

Colors’ remained strong on the back of ‘Bigg Boss 11’, which garnered 73,500 viewers at 21:00. ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 fetched 31,900 viewers and ‘Laado 2’ at 22:00 with 18,200 viewers.

ZEE TV was up slightly with a share of 0.04%. Surprisingly, its original fictions did not perform as well as ZEE News bulletin at 17:00, which garnered 11,900 viewers – the same as ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa – Lil Champs’ repeat at 22:00. The top fiction was ‘Aisi Deewangi’ at 21:30 pulled in 8,700 viewers.

Sony TV registered a share of 0.03% with ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:30 with 26,900 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai’ at 22:30 with 19,400 viewers and ‘Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi’ re-run at 13:30 with 15,900 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Sawera’ at 19:30 pulled in 17,200 viewers, followed by ‘Aap Ki Kaneez’ at 18:30 with 9,900 viewers.
