Overnights: Hum Masala & Geo TV surge to No.2 in UK on Friday

In the latest UK ratings twist, Hum Masala and Geo TV both surprisingly surged to No.2 on Friday, leaving other big Hindi channels behind. Star Plus remained No.1, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus’ biggest attractions on Friday were ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 57,500 viewers, followed by ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ at 19:00 with 52,700 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 51,900 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 51,000 viewers, ‘Ishqbaaz’ at 20:00 with 42,000 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 with 36,600 viewers and ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 18:00 with 31,200 viewers.

On Hum Masala, ‘Evening With Shireen’ at 17:45 delivered 21,800 viewers, followed by ‘Mehboob’s Kitchen’ at 12:15 with 19,700 viewers and ‘Tarka’ at 20:00 with 17,000 viewers.

On Geo TV, repeats of ‘Kamzarf’ at 11:00 and ‘Bojh’ at 10:00 did well with 23,400 viewers and 21,500 viewers respectively. ‘Noor Bibi’ at 20:00 pulled in 20,800 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Patiala Babes’ delivered 41,800 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:30 with 30,100 viewers and ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 13,800 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Tenali Rama’ at 19:00 was watched by 13,800 viewers, followed by ‘Filmfare Awards’ 21:00 with 13,200 viewers.

On Star Bharat, ‘Jiji Maa’ led with 13,100 viewers, followed by ‘Sanjeev Kapoor’s Kitchen’ at 18:30 with 12,800 viewers and ‘Musakaan’ at 20:00 with 10,000 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Band Khirkiyan’ delivered 29,100 viewers, followed by ‘Baandi’ at 20:00 with 21,900 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Guddan’ at 18:30 raked in 31,500 viewers, followed by ‘Kundali Bhagya’ at 20:30 with 17,200 viewers and ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ at 19:00 with 7,400 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Roop’ was watched by 15,300 viewers at 23:00, followed by ‘Sitaara’ at 22:30 with 6,600 viewers and ‘Kesari Nandan’ at 20:30 with 5,600 viewers.
