Overnights: Hum Europe gives heat to Colors

Pakistani broadcaster Hum Europe made some sort of headway in the UK Asian TV ratings on Wednesday night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The channel was slightly ahead of Colors and Rishtey as an average overall between 19:00 – 23:00 (primetime). Hum Europe averaged with 19,500 viewers, while Colors settled with 16,700 viewers and Rishtey next with 9,800 viewers.

Hum Europe’s two shows ‘Pyaar Se Darte Ho Ji’ at 20:00 was the biggest success between 20:00 – 21:00 with 45,100 viewers – peaking at 66,500 viewers. This was followed by ‘Chupke Chupke Pyaar’ at 21:00 with 14,500 viewers. ‘Salma Ko Mul Gaya Balma’ at 18:30 – 20:00 attracted 14,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Uttaran’ drew the biggest audience at 22:00 with 40,600 viewers, followed by ‘Rangrasiya’ with 29,100 viewers and ‘Shastri Sisters’ in third with 14,200 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 drew in 19,700 viewers, followed by ‘Parichay’ (repeat) at 22:00 with 19,600 viewers and ‘Laado’ with 9,000 viewers.

On Star Plus, all fiction shows fell below 100,000 viewers again in so many weeks. The show ‘SaraswatiChandra’ was the most watched with 98,600 viewers, followed by ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ with 92,800 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 85,800 viewers.

On Hum Europe, ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ was top with 27,900 viewers, followed by ‘Tumhari Paakhi’ with 16,500 viewers at 21:30.
