Overnights: Huge launch for ‘Indian Idol 11’ on Sony TV in UK

Sony Entertainment Television trounced its rivals on Saturday, with record breaking figures for the launch episode of ‘Indian Idol 11’, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV delivered a share of 0.22%, followed by BritAsia TV with 0.10%, Star Gold, Colors and Colors Cineplex with 0.07%, Hum TV, Star Plus, PTC Punjabi, B4U Movies and New Vision TV with 0.06%, ZEE Cinema with 0.05%, Sony MAX with 0.04%, Sony SAB TV with 0.03%, B4U Music, Star Bharat, Geo TV, Geo News and ZEE TV with 0.02%.

On Sony TV, ‘Indian Idol 11’ launched with a humongous 84,600 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 67,800 viewers, ‘Superstar Singer’ repeat at 16:30 with 24,400 viewers and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ repeat at 23:00 with 15,600 viewers.

On BritAsia TV, ‘Big Names Massive Hits’ at 19:30 was watched by 42,500 viewers, followed by shows between 20:00 – 22:00 raking in 33,300 viewers each.

On Star Plus, ‘Nach Baliye 9’ attracted 26,000 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Divya Drishti’ at 21:30 with 17,800 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Deewar-e-Shab’ raked in 30,700 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Qismat’ at 22:00 with 22,400 viewers and ‘Shanakht’ at 21:00 with 16,800 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 13 – Weekend Ka Vaar’ pulled in 52,000 viewers, which saw the first elimination – Dalljiet Kaur being booted out of the house. ‘Desi Beat’ at 21:00 pulled in 20,000 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Alif’ delivered 16,300 viewers at 20:00.

On ZEE TV, ‘Dance India Dance’ repeat at 13:30 and ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 14:00 both fetched 7,000 viewers and 7,100 viewers respectively. ‘Movie Masti With Maniesh Paul’ at 19:30 attracted 5,200 viewers.
