Overnights: ‘Housefull 3’ tops movies on Sunday in UK

The UK television premiere of ‘Housefull 3’ on Star Plus last night, proved a success for the channel, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The film was watched by 28,200 viewers between 21:00 – midnight – peaking at 59,800 viewers – making it the most watched film on Asian television yesterday. The comedy stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan. Elsewhere on the channel, ‘Saathiya’ was the biggest fiction with 156,700 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 133,100 viewers, ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 18:30 with 109,900 viewers. ‘Dance+ 2’ at 20:00 pulled in 51,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Kawach’ at 22:30 pulled in 11,100 viewers, followed by ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ repeat at 23:30 with 7,500 viewers and ’24 India’ at 21:30 with 5,100 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 topped ratings with 17,900 viewers, followed by 60-minutes of ‘Kasam’ at 20:00 with 14,700 viewers and movie ‘Chalte Chalte’ at 21:0 with 6,500 viewers.

On &TV, ‘The Voice India – Kids’ at 20:00 pulled in 13,300 viewers, followed by movie ‘Namastey London’ at 15:30 with 3,400 viewers and ‘Welcome’ at 12:00 with 2,400 viewers.

On SAB TV, movie ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’ at 19:35 pulled in 7,000 viewers, followed by movie ‘Rocket Singh’ at 16:30 with 6,300 viewers and ‘Salaam Namaste’ at 13:30 with 4,00 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Udaari’ at 20:00 fetched 68,200 viewers, followed by Hum Awards at 21:00 with 17,400 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Annie Ki Ayegi Baraat’ at 23:00 delivered 10,100 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Chahahatein Yeh Shiddatein’ at 21:00 with 5,100 viewers.
