Overnights: Hot weather dents Wednesday UK ratings

The unusually hot British weather played havoc on UK Asian TV ratings last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

Market leader, Star Plus’ top rated show ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ stayed in pole position with 84,500 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 68,600 viewers and ‘Tu Mera Hero’ at 20:00 with 54,400 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 19:30 was top with 25,500 viewers, followed by ‘Swaragini’ at 21:30 with 16,300 viewers and ‘Balika Vadhu’ at 19:00 with 12,300 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Laado’ returned to top with 33,300 viewers, followed by ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 28,600 viewers and ‘Thapki Pyar Ki’ at 20:00 with 21,400 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ was back to top with 14,600 viewers, followed by ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 12,000 viewers and ‘Badii Devrani’, which had a record 100,000 viewers on Tuesday slumped back to 11,600 viewers at 21:30.

On Hum TV, ‘Iftaar Package’ at 21:00 was top with 20,900 viewers, followed by ‘Muqadas’ at 21:30 with 13,700 viewers.
