The free-to-air television premiere of ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ on SAB TV last night proved disappointing in UK ratings last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BziAsia.

The film starring Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan, aired between 22:30 and 01:05 and averaged with 14,600 viewers – peaking at 19,100 viewers. The low ratings could be down to the lack of promotion of the film and the technical audio visual sync issue during the broadcast. The film’s repeat telecast at 16:30 today may do better if the problem is rectified.

On Star Plus, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ continued its lead with 147,900 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 135,400 viewers and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 17:30 with 81,400 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Swaragini’ led at 21:30 with 47,600 viewers, followed by ‘Balika Vadhu’ at 19:00 with 16,200 viewers and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 19:30 with 11,100 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ stayed top with 69,400 viewers at 20:30, followed by ‘Thapki’ at 20:00 with 63,400 viewers and ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan’ and ‘Bandini’ at 21:00 and 21:30 respectively with 13,900 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Badii Devrani’ at 21:30 was top with 13,500 viewers, followed by ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 10,300 viewers and ‘Gangaa’ & ‘Bhaghlakshmi’ Maha-Episode at 19:30 generating 8,400 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Tumharay Siwa’ at 20:00 took lead with 28,100 viewers, followed by ‘Tumhari Natasha’ at 21:00 with 23,600 viewers.
