'Nach Baliye 5' outshines rivals on Saturday night

The ‘Nach Baliye’ special featuring Bollywood legend, Govinda kept viewers interest in the show alive and it remained the most watched Asian TV show on Saturday in UK.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Nach Baliye’ attracted almost 160,000 viewers between 21:00 – 22:30 – peaking at 188,300 viewers. The spin-off show ‘Parde Ke Peeche’, which aired straight after got 71,800 viewers at 22:30.

The UK’s second most watched show on Saturday was the Maha Episode of ‘Saathiya’ on Star Plus, which was shown at 19:00 pulling in 82,600 viewers and then another 41,000 viewers at 23:00 for its repeat.

‘Arjun’ at 20:00 on Star Plus was viewed by 61,800 – peaking at 127,200 viewers.

‘Trendsetters’ on Zing was the most watched show at 17:00 with 14,300 viewers. The repeat telecast of ‘Brits Bollywood’ at 18:00 got 6,700 viewers. The movie ‘Chandni Chowk To China’ at midday attracted 5,400 viewers. The ‘World Of Bollywood Weekend Edition’ pulled in 3,200 viewers.

On Star Life Ok ‘Savdhaan India’ at 22:00 remained the channel’s most watched show with 27,500 viewers, followed by ‘Hum Ne Li Hai Shapath’ at 21:00 delivering 24,800 viewers at 21:00.

On ARY News, ‘Sawal Ye Hai’ at 19:00 attracted 14,100 viewers, followed by ‘News At 10:00pm’, which pulled in 12,200 viewers. In third was ‘Masti Gate’ at 18:00 with 12,000 viewers.
