Overnights: Golden Petal Awards 2017 tops Colors

The 2017 edition of Colors’ Golden Petal Awards proved a UK ratings success on the channel last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The event was watched by 24,500 viewers at 21:00 – peaking at 57,700 viewers. Golden Petal Awards celebrate in-house talent at Colors and this year had performances by Diljit Dosanjh (Rising Star), Vivian DSena (Shakti), Rubina Dilaik (Shakti), Mouni Roy (Naagin), plus many others. ‘Naagin – Season’ was second most watched on the channel with 18,700 viewers, ‘Desi Beat’ at 18:50 with 16,700 viewers and Asian Achievers Awards at 19:15 with 7,300 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ topped ratings with 123,600 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 98,100 viewers and ‘Nach Baliye 8’ at 20:00 with 95,800 viewers. Earlier in the day, ‘Meri Durga’ led with 32,600 viewers and ‘Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee’ at 13:30 with 32,600 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ led with 42,900 viewers at 18:30, followed by ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 37,900 viewers and ‘Kairi’ at 19:00 with 22,500 viewers.

On &TV, movie ‘Welcome’ raked in just 1,700 viewers at 15:30. Other shows on the channel didn’t fare so well.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Sultan’ continued to impress with its umpteenth repeat telecast, which was watched by 29,800 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Chandni’ at 11:30 with 16,400 viewers and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 18:25 with 15,000 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Mere Qatil Mere Dildar’ attracted 24,100 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Woh Aik Pal’ at 20:00 with 23,600 viewers and ‘Tonight With HSY’ at 22:00 with 21,700 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Mohabbat Tum Sa Nafrat Hai’ at 20:00 fetched 15,500 viewers.
