The original Pakistani magazine show on Geo TV hosted by Nadia Khan is continuously beating rival channels including Star Plus, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Looking at data for Wednesday in the UK, ‘Nadia Khan Show’, which airs between 09:00 – 11:00 weekdays, pulled in an impressive 32,700 viewers – peaking at 52,800 viewers. The programme, which consists of lifestyle issues and entertainment stars, has regularly stayed ahead of rival channels.

During the same slot, Hum TV’s ‘Jago Pakistan Jago’ (09:00 – 10:30) could only pull in 1,700 viewers. The UK’s leading Asian channel, Star Plus also struggles with just 5,100 viewers between 09:00 – 11:00. Like its Indian rivals, Star Plus relies on repeat telecasts of fictions it broadcasts on the previous night.

Geo TV’s most watched primetime show last night was new show ‘Iss Khamoshi Ka Matlab’ at 20:00, which attracted 1,200 viewers. On Hum TV, ‘Mastana Mahi’ at 21:00 was biggest show with 49,400 viewers, followed by ‘Dil-e-Beqarar’ at 20:00 with 17,500 viewers and ‘Kisse Chahoon’ at 22:00 with 9,300 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ delivered 158,600 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 18:30 with 121,500 viewers and ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 109,500 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ at 20:30 brought in 22,900 viewers, followed by ‘Swaragini’ at 21:00 with 22,000 viewers and ‘Krishnadasi’ at 21:30 with 20,200 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ was back on top with 61,100 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 with 46,700 viewers and ‘Pabbandi Ishq’ at 21:30 with 43,800 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 registered 14,500 viewers, followed by ‘Gangaa’ at 20:00 with 12,400 viewers and ‘Santoshi Maa’ at 19:�0 with 12,200 viewers.

On SAB TV, ‘Comedy Circus With Kapil’ was top with 6,700 viewers at 21:00.
