Popular Pakistani entertainment channel, Geo TV touched an all-time high in UK ratings on Tuesday with its best ever performance during daytime.

The channel has slowly been rejigging its programming to combat its rivals and latest figures for Tuesday show the channel had a reach of 186,000. It had the second biggest share behind Star Plus with 0.23, compared to Star Plus, which had a share of 0.32.

The channel’s best performing show was ‘Rishton Ki Dor’ at 21:00 with its biggest ever audience with 58,900 viewers – peaking at 78,400 viewers, followed by the final episode of ‘Dil Ishq’ at 20:00 with 45,000 viewers. ‘The Nadia Khan Show’ at 09:00 also delivered its best ever ratings with a huge 43,900 viewers tuning in over the two hours – peaking at 72,800 viewers. The repeat telecast of ‘Ali Ki Ammi’ at 14:00 also did well with 39,000 viewers.

In terms of share, Geo TV was the most watched Pakistani channel yesterday beating Hum TV and ARY News.

Rival, Hum TV had a share of 0.17, with a reach of 248,000 viewers. ‘Preet Na Kariyo Koi’ at 20:00 delivered its biggest ever ratings with 87,100 viewers, followed by ‘Aik Thi Misaal’ at 22:00 with 45,400 viewers and ‘Mujhe Apna Bana Lo’ at 21:00 with 32,600 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ returned to the top with 176,100 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 137,200 viewers and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 17:30 with 121,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 9’ at 21:30 registered 43,100 viewers, followed by ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ at 20:30 with 22,500 viewers and ‘Swaragini’ at 21:00 with 21,700 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ led with 66,000 viewers, followed by ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’ at 19:30 with 61,400 viewers and ‘Laado’ at 19:00 with 55,400 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ was on top with 34,400 viewers, followed by repeat of ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 23:00 with 29,800 viewers and ‘Santoshi Maa’ at 19:30 with 12,300 viewers.
