Overnights: Geo TV surprises on Tuesday by taking No.2 spot

Pakistani entertainment channel, Geo TV surprised in UK ratings on Tuesday by moving up to the No.2 spot, closely behind Star Plus at No.1, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Geo TV, which has been steadily climbing up the popularity chart over the past few weeks, made a leap to a share of 0.09%, behind Star Plus’ 0.13%. Geo TV’s biggest attractions were ‘Ab Dekh Khuda Kya Karta Hai’ with 48,500 viewers at 20:00. It was also the biggest show during the 20:00 – 21:00 slot on Tuesday across all Asian TV networks. ‘Beyreham’ at 19:00 pulled in 23,900 viewers, followed by ‘Seerat’ at 21:00 with 16,500 viewers and ‘Ay Dil Tu Bata’ at 19:30 with 16,200 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ was back on top with 76,700 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 55,300 viewers, ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 with 53,100 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 45,200 viewers, ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 20:00 with 36,200 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 with 28,400 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 was watched by 29,900 viewers, followed by ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:30 with 25,000 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:00 with 19,500 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Mera Khwaab Reza Reza’ topped ratings with 21,100 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Bisaat-e-Dil’ at 22:00 with 13,600 viewers and ‘Aik Larki Aam Si’ repeat at 23:00 with 12,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 12’ pulled in 25,200 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 18,800 viewers and ‘Silsila’ at 22:00 with 18,000 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Balika Vadhu’ topped ratings with 29,700 viewers at 21:00.

On Star Bharat, ‘Savdhaan India’ fetched 13,400 viewers at 22:00.

On ZEE TV, ‘Rasm-e-Rasoi’ at 16:30 led with 18,500 viewers, followed by ‘Guddan’ at 18:30 with 11,600 viewers.
