Overnights: Geo TV shoots up to No.2 in UK on Wednesday

Pakistani broadcaster, Geo TV shot up to No.2 in UK ratings on Wednesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The channel delivered one of its biggest shares in UK ratings, clocking up 0.09%, just behind Star Plus, which stayed top with 0.13%. Geo TV’s biggest attractions were ‘Ay Dil Tu Bata’ at 19:30 with 46,700 viewers, followed by ‘Beyreham’ at 19:00 with 43,600 viewers, ‘Mera Ghar Aur Ghadari’ repeat at 17:00 with 37,500 viewers and ‘Qaid’ at 20:00 with 31,900 viewers.

Star Plus remained the top Asian TV channel on Wednesday with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ on top. It was watched by 96,600 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 with 72,500 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 with 55,700 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 53,100 viewers, ‘Ishqbaaz Dhinchak’ at 20:00 with 47,100 viewer, ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 18:00 with 43,700 viewers and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 35,200 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Ladies Special’ was top show with 34,800 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Patiala Babes’ at 21:00 with 31,700 viewers and ‘Best Of Crime Patrol’ at 23:00 with 27,900 viewers.

On Colors, new show ‘Kesari Nandan’ at 20:30 pulled in 7,000 viewers, while ‘Silsila’ was top show with 23,700 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Tawaan’ at 20:00 delivered 32,300 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Khwab Reza Reza’ at 21:00 with 12,600 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Guddan’ led with 25,700 viewers at 18:30, followed by ‘DID Lil Masters’ repeat at 10:00 with 5,900 viewers.

On Sony MAX, ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ was top movie across all Asian TV networks with 14,600 viewers at 13:45.
