Overnights: Geo TV leads over Hum TV on Thursday

In a first, Geo TV has won the whole prime time schedule over rival Hum TV in last night’s UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

This is the first time Geo TV has beaten Hum TV in all primetime slots between 19:00 – 23:00. Geo TV’s strongest show was new fiction ‘Ek Kasak Reh Gaee’ at 20:00 with 58,800 viewers, compared to ‘Pakeeza’ at the same time on Hum TV with 26,500 viewers. ‘Mujhe Kuch Kenha Hai’ at 21:00 also did very well with 57,700 viewers beating ‘Kahi Un Kahi’ at 21:00 on Hum TV with 46,100 viewers. ‘Babul Ka Angna’ at 19:30 on Geo TV pulled in 53,100 viewers, while ‘Ishq-e-Benam’ at the same time on Hum TV rated zero. ‘Devrani Jethani’ at 22:00 raked in 11,000 viewers, compared to ‘Kisse Chahoon’ on Hum TV with 8,700 viewers.

On Prime TV, Pakistan Super League first match of the day at 11:05 between Karachi Vs Peshawar delivered 13,300 viewers, while Islamabad Vs Quetta at 15:00 pulled in 15,300 viewers. The highlights package at 22:05 delivered 1,100 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ stayed top with 127,900 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 125,200 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 with 117,600 viewers. ‘Silsila Pyaar Ka’ at 20:30 did well with 93,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Swaragini’ at 21:00 topped ratings with 35,000 viewers, followed by repeat at 23:00 with 25,400 viewers and ‘Ashoka’ at 22:30 with 22,400 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ led with 53,200 viewers at 18:30, followed by ‘Laado’ at 19:00 with 44,200 viewers and ‘Thapki’ at 20:00 with 38,900 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 pulled in 23,300 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum’ at 21:00 with 23,100 viewers and ‘Gangaa’ at 20:00 with 20,000 viewers.
