Overnights: Geo TV impresses on Friday in UK

Geo TV impressed in UK ratings on Friday with one of its biggest shares in a long time, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The biggest show on the channel was ‘Manto’ at 21:00 with 22,100 viewers, followed by ‘Zamani…’ at 21:00 with 21,600 viewers and ‘Geo Subh-e-Pakistan’ at 09:00 with 10,800 viewers. It clocked up a share of 0.06%.

Star Plus remained by far the biggest Asian TV channel with a share of 0.23%, with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 111,900 viewers, followed by ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 92,400 viewers and ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 65,500 viewers.

Colors also did well with a share of 0.07%. Its top show remained ‘Bigg Boss 11’ at 21:00 with 63,100 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 19,800 viewers.

ZEE Cinema did fairly well with a share of 0.05%. Its top movie was ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ and ‘Teri Meri Kahani’ with 9,700 viewers each.

Hum TV delivered 0.08% share with ‘Oh Rungreza’ doing well with 59,900 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Neelum Kinaray’ at 21:00 with 44,400 viewers.

ZEE TV raked up a share of 0.02%, while Sony Entertainment Television did better with 0.03%.
