Overnights: Geo TV flies high in 21:00 – 23:00 Wednesday slot

Geo TV beat the likes of &TV, Colors, Rishtey and Hum TV in the 21:00 – 23:00 slot last night in the UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

‘Sang Dil’ at 22:00 was the biggest show on the channel and led the slot with 42,900 viewers – peaking at 53,100 viewers, followed by ‘Joru Ka Ghulam’ at 21:00 with 33,900 viewers. The channel has been slowly climbing back up the UK ratings with its new primetime fiction offerings.

Rival, Hum TV didn’t do as well with ‘Aseerzaadi’ at 21:00 the channel leader with 33,700 viewers, followed by ‘Deewana’ at 22:00 with 17,700 viewers and ‘Saya-e-Deewar Bhi Nahi’ at 20:00 with 11,800 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ led with 122,200 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Siya Ke Ram’ at 20:00 with 79,800 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 77,600 viewers and ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 64,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Ashoka’ was on top with 13,400 viewers at 22:20, followed by ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 5,000 viewers and ‘Krishndasi’ at 21:30 with 4,900 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 16,400 viewers, followed by ‘Bandini’ at 21:30 with 13,200 viewers and ‘Phulwa’ at 19:00 with 11,100 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ led with 31,500 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ repeat at 22:30 with 15,000 viewers (original at 20:30 with 12,500 viewers) and ‘Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum’ at 21:00 with 14,300 viewers.
