Overnights: Geo TV edges out Hum TV in 19:30 – 21:00 Friday slot

Geo TV edged out rival Hum TV in the 19:30 – 21:00 slot in Friday ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

While the viewership was relatively small for the slots, Geo TV was still ahead of Hum TV. At 19:30, ‘Babul Ka Angna’ on Geo TV was watched by 18,100 viewers, while on Hum TV in the same slot was ‘Haya Ka Daaman’ which raked in 12,000 viewers. At 20:00, Geo TV was top with ‘Sangdil’ with 13,300 viewers and ‘Jhoot’ on Hum TV was watched by 10,600 viewers. However, Hum TV’s biggest show was the final episode of ‘Sehra Main Safar’ at 21:00 with 45,500 viewers. ‘Noor Jehan’ at 21:00 on Geo TV could only muster in around 1,000 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ was the most watched show with 144,100 viewers – peaking at 165,500 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 73,800 viewers and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 both registered 70,000 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Swaragini’ and ‘Krishnadasi’ both pulled in 10,200 viewers at 21:00 and 21:40 respectively.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ stayed in pole position with 64,100 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Phulwa’ at 19:00 with 48,800 viewers and ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 36,000 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ was top show with 22,900 viewers, followed by ‘Begusarai’ at 22:00 with 21,400 viewers and the repeat of ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 22:30 with 14,700 viewers.
