Overnights: Geo TV eclipses Hum TV in 8pm slot

Geo TV eclipsed Hum TV in the 20:00 – 21:00 slot in UK ratings on Monday night but only just!

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Ali Ki Ammi’ at 20:00 delivered 51,300 viewers – peaking at 66,000 viewers. On rival, Hum TV, ‘Maan’ at 20:00 was just behind with 49,500 viewers. Incientally, ‘Ali Ki Ammi’ was the only show that beat Hum TV in ratings last night. ‘Jannat’ at 22:00 pulled in 29,000 viewers and ‘Rishton Ki Dor’ at 21:00 garnered 15,600 viewers.

Hum TV’s top show was ‘Maan’ at 20:00, followed by ‘Ishq Benam’ at 19:30 registered 47,400 viewers and ‘Mera Dard Na Jane Koi’ at 19:00 with 46,600 viewers. ‘Aik Thi Misaal’ at 22:00 pulled in 45,100 viewers. ‘Mujhe Apna Bana Lo’ raked in 30,900 viewers at 21:00.

On Star Plus, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ ruled with 130,200 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 126,100 and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 17:30 with 118,700 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 9’ at 21:30 was on top with 38,800 viewers, followed by ‘Swaragini’ at 21:00 with 30,300 viewers and ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ at 20:30 with 25,800 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ thrashed all rivals at 20:00 with 128,400 viewers, followed by ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’ at 19:30 with 69,600 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 with 68,300 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Bhaghyalakshmi’ and ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ both raked in 20,100 viewers each and ‘Gangaa’ was next with 19,100 viewers at 20:00.
