Overnights: Geo TV climbs in Monday ratings

Geo TV has been climbing steadily in UK ratings and once again did well on Monday night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The biggest show on the channel was ‘Izn-e-Rukhsat’ at 20:00 with 19,200 viewers – peaking at 32,200 viewers, followed by ‘Sang Dil’ at 22:00 with 17,300 viewers and ‘Manchali’ at 21:00 with 15,400 viewers.

On rival, Hum TV, ‘Aseerzadi’ at 21:00 did well with 62,200 viewers – peaking at 72,800 viewers, followed by ‘Mann Mayal’ at 20:00 with 54,200 viewers and ‘Khwab Saraye’ at 22:00 with 19,400 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ was most watched with 152,200 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 124,900 viewers, ‘Siya Ke Ram’ at 20:00 with 106,400 viewers and ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 18:30 with 106,300 viewers.

On Colors, afternoon output was boosted with repeat of ‘Krishndai’ at 13:30 with 48,700 viewers, followed by repeat of ‘Swaragini’ at 13:00 with 43,800 viewers. Later in the evening, ‘Krishndasi’ repeat at 18:30 fetched 8,300 viewers but the original of ‘Swaragini’ at 21:00 pulled in 8,800 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Kasam’ was the biggest draw with 50,000 viewers, followed by ‘Phulwa’ at 19:00, which fetched 18,300 viewers and ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 13,600 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ led with 36,200 viewers, followed by ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 18,400 viewers and ‘Santoshi Maa’ at 19:30 with 3,200 viewers.

On ARY News, the ‘News at 8pm’ bulletin at 20:00 attracted 40,600 viewers.
