Overnights: Geo News beats Star Plus on Saturday in UK

Geo News triumphed in UK ratings on Saturday beating market leader, Star Plus on Saturday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Geo News’ share stood at 0.10%, followed by Star Plus with 0.08%, ZEE Cinema, Hum TV and &TV with 0.05%, Sony Entertainment Television and Colors with 0.04%.

Geo News has been on a ratings high this week with record breaking numbers. The channel’s top show on Saturday was ‘Geo World New Headlines’ at 19:00 with 49,400 viewers and ‘Khabarnak’ with 45,800 viewers.

Star Plus’ top rated shows were ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 82,700 viewers, ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 43,500 viewers and ‘Meri Durga’ at 18:30 with 22,400 viewers. Movie ‘Maatr’ at 22:00 raked in 18,500 viewers.

ZEE Cinema’s telecast of ZEE Cine Awards 2018 raked in 20,100 viewers at 18:30. Sister channel, ZEE TV fetched a share of 0.03% with ‘Best of ZEE Cine Awards’ at 16:30 attracting 14,500 viewers.

&TV performed well with movie ‘Great Grand Masti’ at 21:30 bringing in 18,000 viewers to the channel, followed by ‘The Voice India – Kids’ at 19:30 with 13,200 viewers.

Hum TV’s top show was ‘La Hasil’ at 21:00 with 27,900 viewers, followed by ‘Khamoshi – The Musical’ at 20:00 with 20,200 viewers and ‘Saturday Night Special’ at 22:00 with 12,000 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television did well with ‘Super Dancer’ at 20:00 with 16,300 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:30 with 13,800 viewers.

Colors’ top rated show was ‘Bigg Boss 11’ attracting 46,400 viewers, while ‘Chandrakanta’ at 20:00 pulled in 12,100 viewers.
