'Geet' continues to impress in UK on Star Life Ok

The re-run of ‘Geet’ on Star Life Ok is proving to be more popular than other shows on the channel, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

‘Geet’, which airs Monday to Friday 14:30 pulled in 36,600 viewers – the biggest audience since it came back as a re-run show. The show peaked to 46,000 viewers. In second place was ‘Crazy Stupid Ishq’ at 18:30 with 17,700 viewers and ‘Mahadev’ with 16,100 viewers. ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ in Hindi got 14,100 viewers and just 200 viewers for the English dubbed. The one-hour launch episode of ‘Ek Boond Ishq’ at 20:30 got 11,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Sanskar’ was top with 22,300 viewers, followed by ‘Madhubala’ with 17,300 viewers and ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha’ with 14,700 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ led the UK ratings overall with 205,500 viewers, followed by ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ with 162,000 viewers and ‘Meri Bhabhi’ in third with 140,700 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘SaraswatiChandra’ (124,000), ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (90,000), ‘Saathiya’ (85,500), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (162,000), ‘Veera’ (62,400), ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (57,200) and ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2’ (32,000).

On Rishtey, ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ was on top with with 68,000 viewers, followed by ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ with 47,100 viewers and ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ with 43,700 viewers.

On Zing, ‘Bollywood Life’ led the ratings with 11,100 viewers at 18:00, followed by ‘Bollywood Now’ with 8,100 at 17:30 and ‘Bollywood Business’ in third with 7,100 viewers.
