Overnights: Gap between Star Plus & Sony TV shrinks at top in UK

While Star Plus continued to reign in UK ratings on Thursday, its share dropped resulting in Sony TV edging closer to the top spot, according to exclusive data obtained by

Star Plus delivered a share of 0.10%, followed by Sony TV with 0.09%, Colors, PTC Punjabi and New Vision TV with 0.06%, Colors Rishtey and Sony MAX with 0.04%, Geo News with 0.03%, Hum TV, Hum Masala, Dunya News, Star Gold, Republic Bharat, Kanshi TV and Geo TV with 0.02% and ZEE TV with 0.01%.

Star Plus’ top attractions on Thursday were ‘Anupamaa’ at 20:00 with 77,900 viewers, followed by ‘Shaadi Mubarak’ at 20:30 with 29,100 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 25,400 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 18,500 viewers, ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:30 with 17,400 viewers, ‘Saathiya 2’ at 19:00 with 17,100 viewers, ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein’ at 21:00 with 14,900 viewers and ‘Lockdown Ki Love Story’ at 22:00 with 10,900 viewers. New show ‘Taare Zameen Par’ dropped to under 1k viewers at 18:00.

On Sony TV, ‘Crime Patrol’ led with 40,100 viewers at 23:00, followed by ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ at 22:30 with 32,000 viewers, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 12’ at 21:00 with 30,100 viewers and ‘Indiawaali Ma’ at 20:30 with 22,400 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ was top show with 48,400 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Bigg Boss 14’ at 21:30 with 28,900 viewers and ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 21,700 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Saraab’ was watched by 7,100 viewers at 20:00 and ‘Dastaan’ at 21:00 with 4,500 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Umeed’ attracted 17,400 viewers at 19:00, followed by ‘Bandhay Aik Dour Say’ at 20:00 with 15,100 viewers.

On ZEE TV, movie ‘Pukar’ led with 3,900 viewers at 13:30.
