Overnights: First London based episode of ‘YHM’ tops Tuesday ratings

The first London based episode of Star Plus’ hugely popular series ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ took the No.1 position in UK ratings on Tuesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The series, which airs at 19:30 on Star Plus was watched by 122,300 viewers – making it the most watched show on UK Asian TV yesterday. The show was being shot in the UK last week, with around ten episodes banked. ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 was in second place with 102,400 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:00 with 94,400 viewers.

Star Plus overall was the UK’s No.1 Asian TV channel with a share of 0.19%. Rivals ZEE TV, Sony TV and Colors could only muster in a share of 0.02% comparatively.

Star Bharat did well with a share of 0.05% with ‘Kya Haal Mr Paanchal’ at 20:00 was top with 24,500 viewers and ‘Jiji Maa’ at 19:30 with 24,400 viewers.

Hum TV was the biggest Pakistani TV channel with a share of 0.05%. ‘Tabeer’ was the biggest show on the channel with 19,100 viewers at 20:00.

ZEE Network’s new channel, Living Foodz reported too small an audience to register.
