The first ‘Bigg Boss 13 Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode on Colors proved disappointing in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
The show hosted by Salman Khan is usually a great fallback for the channel to make-up for lower viewership during the week. However, last night’s episode was the least watched of this series since it launched last Sunday. The smaller ratings could be attributed to the start of the series, which may little longer to register with viewers. Also, this year, the channel has scheduled the series in the later slot of 21:30 than the usual 21:00, which has certainly impacted the ratings.
Last night’s episode attracted a paltry 22,000 viewers at 21:30 – peaking at 35,600 viewers. The show faced stiff competition from ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony TV, which clocked up 48,000 viewers. It also went head to head with two movie premieres ‘Super 30’ (Star Gold), which raked in 12,200 viewers and ‘Kabir Singh’ (Sony MAX), pulling in 14,400 viewers.
