Overnights: Euro 2020 final dents Sunday viewership on Asian TV channels


The Euro 2020 final between England and Italy on Sunday, proved a headache from Asian TV broadcasters, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

With nearly 30 million viewers tuning into the match on BBC One and ITV1 collectively, ZEE Cinema topped the Asian TV genre with 0.06%, followed by Sony TV with 0.05% and Geo TV with 0.03%.

ZEE Cinema’s top movie on Sunday was ‘Vidhaata’ at 14:30 with 17,300 viewers and ‘Mughal-E-Azam’ at 10:45 with 14,900 viewers.
