Overnights: ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ climbs to top in UK ratings

Star Plus’ newly launched fiction ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ has been slowly creeping to the top of the UK ratings and last night it managed just that.

While the numbers weren’t huge, it still outperformed rival shows on other channels, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia. ‘Ek Hasina Thi’, which airs at 20:00 raked in 148,600 viewers – peaking at 166,400 viewers – the biggest audience since its launch two weeks ago. ‘Mahabharat’ at 20:30 got 143,000 viewers and ‘SaraswatiChandra’ was in third with 115,900 viewers.

On UMP Movies, the acquisition of popular Yash Raj Films titles did fairly well. ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’ at 18:20 pulled in 12,500 viewers – peaking at 52,000 viewers. The premiere of ‘The Dirty Picture’ on the channel at 21:00 also brought in a decent amount of viewers. It got 22,300 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ at 21:00 was the channel’s most watched show with 41,300 viewers – peaking at 92,700 viewers and ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:15 mustered in 28,400 viewers.

On Rishtey, discussion show ‘Aamne Samne’ at 21:30 delivered 15,500 viewers.
