Overnights: Eid output puts Prime TV at No.2 on Tuesday in UK

Prime TV trounced all rival channels, excluding Star Plus in UK ratings on Eid Tuesday with a strong performance, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Prime TV was placed at No.2 in rankings of UK Asian TV channels on Eid Tuesday:

1. Star Plus – 0.20% (Share)
2. Prime TV – 0.10% (Share)
3. New Vision TV – 0.07% (Share)
4. Sony TV – 0.06% (Share)
5. Geo News – 0.06% (Share)

Star Plus was the biggest Asian TV channel on Tuesday. The channel’s biggest shows on Tuesday were ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 with 76,200 viewers, followed by ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 21:00 with 74,200 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 69,100 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala at 20:30 with 64,300 viewers, ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 20:00 with 57,900 viewers and re-run of ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 14:30 with 53,900 viewers. The divorce storyline in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 has so far proved a turn-off for UK viewers with only 13,900 viewers tuning in at 18:30 – one of the least watched shows on Star Plus on Tuesday.

Sony TV’s biggest attractions were ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:30 with 40,800 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:30 with 21,800 viewers, ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:30 with 11,200 viewers.

Star Bharat fetched a share of 0.04% with ‘Nimki Mukhiya’ on top with 15,900 viewers, followed by ‘Savdhaan India’ at 22:00 with 13,800 viewers and ‘Jiji Maa’ at 19:30 with 11,500 viewers.

Hum TV delivered a share of 0.03% with ‘Jago Pakistan Jago’ raking in 7,100 viewers, followed by ‘Koi To Rok Lo’ at 23:00 with 6,200 viewers and ‘Bakron Ka Robin Hood’ at 21:00 with 5,500 viewers.

Geo TV’s share was at 0.02% with ‘Beti Jaisi’ pulling in 7,500 viewers, followed by ‘Beyreham’ at 19:00 with 6,700 viewers.

Colors’ share was at 0.02% with ‘Dev 2’ on top with 10,700 viewers, followed by ‘Bepannaah’ at 21:30 with 8,800 viewers and ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 7,900 viewers.

ZEE TV’s share was also at 0.02% with ‘Zindagi Ki Mehek’ being watched by 18,700 viewers, followed by ‘Piyaa Albela’ with 7,000 viewers.
