New drama ‘Saraswatichandra’ ended the week on a lower audience than what it started, it grabbed 126,600 viewers at 19:30. On Monday, it launched with an audience of 217,000. However, audience figures are set to rise next week after the two lead stars meet in Monday’s episode.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (122,00), ‘Kaali Ek PunarAvtar’ (116,500), ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ (116,300), ‘Saathiya’ (111,900) and ‘Veera’ (99,900).

Over on Zing, the replacement of ‘Cloud 9’ in the morning slot at 10:30 with ‘Trendsetters’ paid dividends for the channel with 12,200 viewers – the best ratings for that slot since the start of this year. However, the 16:30 repeat was not as successful with a zero rating. ‘Cloud 9’ at 18:30 got zero rating but the 22:30 slot got over 3,000 viewers.
