Last night’s episode of ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ emerged as the UK’s most watched Asian show, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The 21:00 drama raked in 187,100 viewers – peaking at 222,800 viewers. In second place was ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’, which has maintained steady figures for the past few days. The show pulled in 176,500 viewers at 20:30. In third place was ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ with 164,700 viewers.

The others were ‘MasterChef India’ (161,600), ‘Saathiya’ (151,500), ‘SaraswatiChandra’ (118,600), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (117,600) and ‘Veera’ (107,200).

Over on Rishtey, ‘Bairi Piya’ at 20:30 got 91,800 viewers – peaking at 101,600 viewers. In second place was ‘Jeevan Saathi’ with 61,100 viewers and ‘Na Aana Is Desh Laado’ with 47,200 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ attracted 24,500 viewers at 22:30, followed by ‘Amrit Manthan’ with 23,000. ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ got 17,700 viewers.

‘BaalVeer’ on Sony SAB TV was the biggest audience puller with 25,100 viewers at 20:00.

On Zing, ‘Cloud 9’ got nearly 1,000 viewers at 18:30 but rated zero at 22:30. ‘World Of Bollywood’ at 18:00 attracted 4,900 viewers.
