'Diya Aur Baati Hum' tops India ratings again

‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ received one of the biggest ratings last night on UK Asian TV, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’, which airs weekdays at 21:00 pulled in 270,100 viewers, followed by ‘Veera’ with 204,500 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ with 173,600 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ (160,000), ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (125,500), ‘Meri Bhabhi’ (108,900), ‘SaraswatiChandra’ (99,800), ‘Saathiya’ (99,000) and ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (61,800).

On Star Life Ok, ‘Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai’ at 22:00 topped the ratings with 55,300 viewers, followed by ‘Geet’ (re-run) with 34,400 viewers and ‘Savdhaan India’ (31,200). ‘Gustakh Dil’ got 19,700 viewers. ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ (re-run) in Hindi got 11,000 viewers and the English episode got zero.

On Rishtey, ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ at 21:00 was the biggest crowd puller with 69,700 viewers, followed by ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ with 60,500 viewers and ‘Bandhan’ with 36,300 viewers in third.

On Zing, ‘Bollywood Life’ dominated the ratings with 3,200 viewers at 18:00, followed by ‘Bollywood Families’ with 2,300 viewers and ‘Bollywood Business’ with 1,400 viewers.
