‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ was the most watched show on UK Asian television last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The show, which airs at 21:00 averaged with 124,900 viewers – peaking at 154,400 viewers, followed by ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ at 22:00 with 124,000 viewers and ‘Mahabharat’ in third with 107,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘BeInehaa’ at 21:00 remained the most popular show on the channel with 93,200 viewers – peaking at 117,400 viewers, followed by ‘Rangrasiya’ with 70,400 viewers – it managed to beat ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ on Star Plus, which could only attract 60,800 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ repeat at 21:30 did well with 74,300 viewers, followed by ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ with 52,900 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was the leading show on the channel with 28,200 viewers, followed by ‘Mahadev’ at 20:00 with 24,900 viewers.
