‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ on Star Plus remained the most watched show on UK Asian television last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The fiction at 21:00 pulled in 192,400 viewers – peaking at 223,400 viewers, followed by ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ at 20:00 with 178,400 viewers and ‘Saathiya’ in third at 19:00 with 152,300 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 8’ stayed top on the channel with 99,500 viewers, followed by ‘BeIntehaa’ with 55,800 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ in third with 42,600 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ at 19:30 was top with 40,500 viewers and ‘Parichay’ next with 31,900 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ took lead with 58,700 viewers at 22:30, followed by ‘Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh’ at 21:30 with 45,000 viewers and ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ at 21:00 with 35,600 viewers. Newly launched ‘Mere Rang Mein Rangne Waali’ at 19:30 launched with 6,300 viewers in 60-minute slot.

On Hum TV Europe, ‘Rishtey Kuch Adhooray Se’ was top with 37,200 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Meherbaan’ with 28,500 viewers.

On SAB TV, new shows from Sony PAL struggled to make any headway in the ratings on its opening night. ‘Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai’ at 21:00 mustered in 2,800 viewers. ‘Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi’ registered zero. ‘Sinhasan Battisi’ pulled in 1,000 viewers at 22:00.
